FAQs - What our brides would like to know

Q: What is the average length of a bridal appointment?

A: Average time to pick out a modest wedding dress is about 1.5 hours, but we don't like to limit you. We want you to take as much time as you need - take pictures, FaceTime your sister or grama, talk it over - we don't want you to feel hurried. We've had brides fall in love with a dress in as little as 30 minutes but if it takes 2 hours that's just fine!

Q: Do I need an appointment for Prom or Bridesmaids?

A: Not on weekdays - come in anytime! On Saturdays, appointments are preferred. If you have a large group trying on bridesmaids dresses, let us know when you are coming in.

Q: How many guests may I invite to a bridal appointment?

A: We only have seating for 4-5 guests - we are a rather small boutique. More are certainly welcome (we've had as many as 15 with a bride and her party!) but most of your guest will have to stand if that's OK. If you bring small children you will be responsible to keep them from wandering and touching dresses or accessories - bring entertainment for the little ones! Please no food allowed.

Q: What should I wear to my appointment?

A: First of all, VERY LITTLE MAKEUP to not get any makeup on the dresses. Please don't wear a sports bra. Please just wear a regular bra. If you have long hair you may want to bring something to tie your hair up.

Q: Do you sell temple dresses?

A: Yes! we have an assortment of cute temple dress styles at reasonable prices.

Q: What are the prices of your wedding dresses?

A: The prices of our new modest wedding dresses in a range our customers can afford, from $700 to a couple that are $1500. The average price is about $800 - $900. We have some clearance dresses ranging $400 and up.

Q: Do you provide alterations at your store?

A: For your convenience we have a couple very good and reasonable priced alterations persons who will come to our store and do your fitting for alteration that are needed on your dress. Once you purchase your bridal gown from us, you then deal directly with the alterations person (make a separate appointment, pay the alterations person separately). Payments are due upon completion, cash or check only.

Q: Do you provide any steaming service for my wedding dress?

A: Yes! We provide one complimentary steaming where we get your gown as smooth as possible, go over looking for loose threads, etc. We can also do some very minor spot cleaning if the dress came that way. Please bring your dress in at least 10 days before your wear date (usually bridal photos) since we have many dresses to steam and may not be able to steam your dress with only a couple days notice.

If you need your dress steamed a second time after bridal photoshoot we charge $30 to $45 depending on style and # of layers. We cannot clean your dress after bridals.  If your dress got dirty you may want to consider taking it to a dry cleaner - if we steam it when dirty it may permanently steam the dirt into the gown.

Q: Do you clean wedding dresses?

A: If you see any spots on your dress the day of purchase, we will clean them. We are not responsible for your dress after it leaves our store. We do not have any cleaning facilities at our store.

Q: Do you sell dressy pant suits or bridal shoes?

A; Unfortunately, no.

Q: Do you rent wedding or prom dresses

A: Unfortunately no, we do not rent any dresses. Only sell new dresses you will own and keep. If you visit our store, we may be able to find a dress within your budget.

Q: Do you buy used wedding or prom dresses, or sell any dresses on consignment?

A: Unfortunately, no.  We only carry brand new dresses for sale from our designers. The best way to sell your dress may be on a social networking or marketplace page.
